Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Accai, including our website, accountability challenges, AI guidance, voice and text sessions, workspaces, journals, source imports, private mission generation, the Accai Chrome extension, progress tracking, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a challenge, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for children under 16.

3. What Accai Provides

Accai provides structured accountability challenges and AI-assisted productivity tools. Depending on the challenge or plan you choose, the Service may include voice or text guidance, daily prompts, work journals, workspace tabs, saved session snapshots, transcripts, progress tracking, verification workflows, and related support tools.

The private course builder can transform source material you choose into an editable five-module draft. Generated structure, research, citations, warnings, mission estimates, and verification criteria may contain errors and must be reviewed by you before you start the course. Started course versions are fixed so progress remains tied to the curriculum you approved.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service as the product develops. We will try to avoid materially reducing paid functionality during an active paid period, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account and payment information, keep it up to date, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the Service.

5. Trials and Billing

Paid challenges are purchased through Stripe Checkout. Eligible users receive the free trial shown at checkout: shorter sprint challenges include a 1-day trial through the first mission, 2-week challenges include a 1-day trial through the first two missions, and 1-month or longer programs include a 3-day trial through the first three missions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Stripe will charge the payment method you provided for the one-time challenge fee shown at checkout. Promotional codes may be available when offered and must be applied through Stripe or the checkout flow.

Prices are shown in USD for current public challenges unless checkout explicitly says otherwise. Taxes and billing terms are shown during checkout. You authorize Accai and Stripe to charge applicable challenge fees, taxes, and other amounts according to the checkout terms. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and Accai does not store full card numbers.

Accai Missions subscriptions are billed monthly in GBP at the price shown in Checkout. The Free plan includes one lifetime private-mission creation and 25 lifetime successful text AI replies on that mission. Paid Guided and Guided + Voice plans include five new mission creations per billing period; allowances do not roll over. Text fair use is limited to 60 successful replies in a rolling hour and 300 in a rolling 24-hour period. Guided + Voice includes 120 pooled active user-and-assistant audio minutes per billing period; idle connection time is excluded. Failed generation or guidance attempts do not count. Every successful mission draft uses an allowance even if later abandoned, and includes one pre-start regeneration.

Active Guided and Guided + Voice subscribers receive the Accai-programme discount displayed at checkout. Subscriber discounts do not stack with promotion codes; you may choose "Use a promo instead." Upgrades take effect immediately with Stripe proration. Downgrades and cancellation take effect at the end of the paid billing period.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel during the free trial and you will not be charged for that challenge. After the trial, you may cancel at any time from your account settings where available or by contacting support. Unless required by law or approved by Accai, paid challenge fees are not prorated or refunded. Public challenge fees are one-time charges, not recurring subscriptions.

When an Accai Missions subscription ends, your private missions, source material, workspace files, and progress remain available. Ready drafts may still be started. New AI generation, paid regeneration, AI verification, paid text guidance, and voice guidance pause when the paid period ends. You can continue a started private mission self-guided and label mission completion as self-reported; resubscribing restores eligible guidance without rewriting prior progress.

If a paid feature is unavailable because of an outage or technical issue, contact support and we will assess the issue in good faith. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including journal entries, workspace tabs, messages, transcripts, feedback, uploaded materials, and other materials you provide ("User Content"). You grant Accai a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, display, reproduce, and create technical copies of User Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights needed to submit it. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or regulated information unless you are comfortable using it with the Service and the relevant third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy.

You must have permission to import, upload, copy, or process transcripts, meeting notes, captions, recordings, and other source material. You are responsible for applicable confidentiality, employment, copyright, consent, recording, and data-protection obligations. The Chrome extension must be used only on content you deliberately choose; do not use it to collect content unlawfully or in violation of another service's terms.

8. Accai Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including Accai software, design, branding, workflows, challenge materials, and other content we provide, is owned by Accai or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, or deceptive activity.
  • Submit content that infringes another person's rights or that you are not allowed to provide.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, access controls, payment requirements, or security controls.
  • Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use AI outputs to make professional, regulated, or high-risk decisions without qualified human review.

10. AI Limitations and Professional Advice

The Service uses AI systems that can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate outputs. Accai is designed for productivity, learning, and accountability support. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, crisis, or other regulated advice. You are responsible for evaluating AI outputs before relying on them.

Courses involving medical, legal, financial, security, or similarly high-stakes subjects may include prominent warnings but remain informational. Consult a qualified professional and independently verify current authorities. Clearly dangerous or platform-prohibited instructions may be blocked.

11. Service Availability and Disclaimers

We provide the Service using reasonable care, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, specific results, challenge completion, revenue outcomes, habit formation, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including rights available to consumers in the United States or United Kingdom.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting the updated Terms in the Service or sending an account notice. The updated Terms apply from the date shown above unless a later effective date is stated.
